Limited Capacity seats available

This session will help Social Studies educators prepare to develop and use rubrics for Social Studies assessments, like the DBQs and Critical Inquiries. Creating clarity within these rubrics before presenting the assignment to students allows teachers to give students more targeted support in completing the assignment. These well-defined rubrics also help Social Studies educators breakdown the SOL Strand 1 skills and track student development throughout the year. Teachers should come prepared with one of the upcoming assessments for their grade level and the downloaded rubric from Sharepoint.
